Awhile ago I was commissioned by our good friends Anton & Madeline (who have been amazing supporters of Pocket Vinyl since we met them over a year ago) to do “a painting”, but they weren’t quite sure what they wanted for a while. We talked about it whenever we saw them, and finally towards the end of this past summer Madeline began to narrow in on an idea. She expressed that she loved more abstract art, and then she sent me a handful of past Pocket Vinyl paintings that she liked, that I could glean influence from. I honed in on two paintings in particular for colour schemes, and then the style of another in order to paint this for them:

And luckily we were able to deliver the painting to them immediately before we left to come up to Canada.
